Construction Updates

Construction updates and pictures from the Weyauwega-Fremont High School additions and renovation project.

  • Redefined traffic patterns have been established in front of the high school to accommodate the new auditorium footprint and water run off retention system. The east service road no longer exists.

  • Earthwork and preliminary footing and foundation preparation is underway in the fitness/weight room/auxiliary gymnasium spaces.

  • Service utilities have been relocated and updated to support building additions and renovations.

  • Footing and foundation forms are set for infill to support the creation of the new Science, Technology, Engineering, Agri-Science and Math (STEAM) classrooms.

  • Existing High School auditorium has been infilled to create the floor work to support the commons/atrium design.

  • The former high school teacher workroom is temporarily relocated to support the renovation of the current space to a special education classroom.

  • Project work will be ongoing as we move through the month of September.  With Mother Nature’s cooperation exterior walls will be erected on the STEAM wing over the next two weeks.

During the various phases of the building construction the District will actively communicate with our school community regarding changing conditions and facility accessibility.  Please note that during the anticipated construction phases the District will work tirelessly to ensure student and school community safety. As a District we appreciate your patience and understanding during changing building conditions.
