Elementary School Counselor
Welcome to the Weyauwega-Fremont Elementary School!
My name is Allyson Hewitt, and I am thrilled to be your elementary school counselor! I graduated from Lakeland University with my Master’s degree in School Counseling in May of 2022. I graduated from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in May of 2019 with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Communication minor.
I am in each K-5 classroom once a week for classroom lessons on social emotional learning, relationships, safety, and academic-related topics. I also provide short-term group and individual meetings with students based on teacher or parent referrals. I have provided links below to resources regarding child mental health, free resources to use at home with your children, and my district YouTube channel where I have created playlists of stories that I either use with your children during my lesson, or relate to the topic they learned about that week.
