The students at Weyauwega Elementary and the Fremont Elementary made Valentine's Day cards for the residents at Bethany, Crossroads, and King Nursing Homes this week to help spread a little Valentine's Day cheer. 💌 #WegaFremont

Earlier this year the fifth-grade Weyauwega students listened to Brian's Winter by Gary Paulson for an interactive read aloud during reading class. Fast forward and now Brian's Winter came to life for them when they traveled to CWES (Central Wisconsin Environmental Station)! What an experience everyone had while learning survival skills like fire building and shelter making, learning about snowshoeing and adaptation animals have to survive the winter, and experiencing what life was like for the pioneers. Our Warhawks had a great time! ♥️ 🖤 #WegaFremont

Recently, the local fire departments presented a check to Fremont Elementary to help support family food service accounts! ♥️ 🖤 Donations were from the Firefighters vs Police Christmas light show in December. 🚒 🚓 Our community continues to support our little school in so many ways and we are very grateful. Thank you local Fire Departments for everything you do! 👏 #WegaFremont

To celebrate National School Counseling Week, Ms. Hewitt did a Kahoot with students to learn more about her, how to become a school counselor, and what school counselors do. There's even some fun questions in there like where she usually takes a trip to once a week... hint: 🍪🩷 #WegaFremont

Our #WegaFremont seniors are getting in touch with their creativity! 🎨 We are excited to see how this masterpiece turns out as 26 seniors are creating a painting based loosely on Jackson Pllock's abstract expressionism!

Our Sources of Strength's mission is to spread hope, help, and strength into every corner of our community. This campaign revolved around "What Helps Me". This entails students sharing what helps them when they are going through a tough time. The students within Sources of Strength put together a collage of photos that have helped them in the past based on the slices of the wheel. 📸 Thank you to FastSigns for the collaboration in making this banner happen! 👏 #WegaFremont

We recently had Fifth Element visit our middle and high school music students. They also performed that evening for our families and community! Fifth Element is a talented student-led a cappella group from UW Eau Claire. Middle school students got to test their skills at beatboxing and high school students stretched and warmed up their voices to sing with the group. 🎵 They performed a few songs for our students and also spoke with them about music, life after high school, and remembering to believe in themselves to achieve their dreams. 🌟 Thank you Fifth Element for taking the time to talk to our students and perform for our families and community! ♥️ 🖤 #WegaFremont

Congratulations Warhawk Powerlifters! 👏 🌟 Parker S. qualified for State by medaling and taking 3rd 🥉 in Winneconne this weekend. 🌟 Raegan F. pulls 20 lbs more than the State Record by Deadlifting 385 lbs. 🌟 Emma H. lifted in her first meet and marked in all 3 lifts reaching a PR in her Squat. 🌟 Shane M. celebrated his birthday by lifting PR's in both Bench and Deadlift. Mrs. Highlander's 4K family took learning generosity and empathy to heart by making 60 gifts to donate to the Weyauwega Fremont Christmas Giving Tree. 🎄 Students worked together to create adorable snowman faces on seasonal soap and added cozy socks to the top for a snowman hat! ⛄️ 🧦 Our 4K students were SO excited to know that someone in our community will get to use our soap and socks and are hopeful that it will make lots of families smile during this holiday season! ♥️ #WegaFremont
